The Grand Legacy Lunchen
Held on September 19 at the Elsie Stuhr Center in Beaverton, this plated luncheon invites families to slow down, connect, and reflect on the legacy they are building together.
At each table, grandparents and grandchildren will be guided through thoughtful conversation prompts that encourage deeper discussions about family traditions, life lessons, hopes for the future, and the values they wish to pass from one generation to the next. These meaningful exchanges create opportunities to preserve family stories while strengthening relationships that will last for years to come.
The Grand Legacy Luncheon is uniquely hosted and served by volunteers from the intellectual and developmental disability community, bringing the full mission of Miah Families to life. By gathering grandparents, grandchildren, volunteers, and community partners around one table, this special event celebrates inclusion, belonging, and the enduring impact each person leaves on the generations that follow.
