Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to invite you to be part of something new for our local music community — the very first Garden Party Open Mic.
Our aim is simple: to create a welcoming, supportive space for local artists to perform, connect, and help build a regular night that could grow into something really special.
📍 Venue: The Denbigh Castle (Downstairs), Hackins Hey, Liverpool (just off Dale Street)
🕢 Time: Starts at 7.30pm — doors open from 7pm
🎟️ Entry: Free
🎤 PA: Small setup with 4 inputs (typically 2 mics + 2 instruments), so this night is ideal for solo artists, duos, and small acoustic acts
👥 Room capacity: 45–50 people
My hope is to establish this as a monthly event. If it gains momentum, I’d love to develop it further — including putting on occasional ticketed shows that spotlight local talent and bring in artists from further afield.
There aren’t many spaces in the city centre offering regular opportunities for grassroots performers, so I’m hoping this can become a valuable addition — but it will only thrive with the support of musicians like you.
If you’re able to come along, play a few songs, or simply show your support on the night, it would mean a lot and really help get this off the ground.
