The Filthy Skillets are a Portland-based bluegrass band known for their lively performances and dynamic blend of traditional and modern stringband sounds. Much like a well-seasoned cast iron pan, their music brings together a mix of ingredients — from classic bluegrass and western swing to country and rock and roll — cooked up with energy, grit, and just the right amount of polish. The Filthy Skillets feature Josh Levine on mandolin, Joel Correia on guitar, Brendon Haggerty on fiddle, Steve Hathaway on banjo, and Nick Marcantonio on upright bass.
