The dynamic dance of hormones in our body, day after day, month after month and year after year, affects our emotions, eating habits, body shape, mental function, libido and level of vitality.
Menstruation remains one of the great mysteries of womanhood, and yet as we deepen our knowledge on the subject we realise how it reflects the wisdom of nature, whether we look at the cycle from puberty to menopause, or on a monthly basis.
This workshop will offer a clear picture on what is happening to the female body from an anatomical and hormonal perspective throughout this lifetime cycle, followed by practical ways of reducing the negative effects of the cycle through yoga, forms of purification, diet and fasting. By applying the different approaches described, we can confidently pursue a life that is harmonious on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels of our being.
