About this Event
Join us for a morning of connections, coffee, and great conversations, plus speakers that will deliver the quick wins in mindset, strategy & business tools. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting out, this event is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and expand your circle.
This month we will be joined by guest speaker, Michelle Saunders, who will be leading a panel discussion on 'How local businesses are prioritising staff health and wellbeing to create culture change'.
Michelle Saunders is a Senior Project Officer in the Public Health team at Medway Council and leads on the Medway Healthy Workplace Programme. Her career has taken her from financial services, to facilities, and into people management and public health, working on improving workforce wellbeing for the past eleven years. Michelle is one of the first cohort to complete the Leading Strategic Workplace Wellbeing Diploma.
Michelle has played a central role in developing Medway’s healthy workplace programme and has partnered with local businesses to shape healthier practices, support behavioural change, and embed wellbeing into everyday working life. Michelle also leads the biennial A Better Medway Awards, which seek to recognise the contribution of businesses, community organisations and individuals to the health and wellbeing of the Medway community.
Michelle is a sought after collaborator across Medway’s public health system and is increasingly involved in thought leadership around healthy workplaces, preventative health and the future of employee wellbeing. She is committed to creating environments where people feel valued, supported and able to perform at their best.
The Medway Healthy Workplace Programme specialises in designing business led interventions that help organisations reduce sickness absence, strengthen employee engagement and cultivate healthier, more resilient cultures. Michelle will be joined by three organisations based at the Dockyard who will share their journey of improving workplace health and wellbeing which we hope will inspire other businesses to do the same.
She will be joined by:
Nikki Bynum - Client Relationship Manager at Fingerprint Financial Planning
Rebecca Stevens - HR Manager at Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust
Fiona Saunders - Talent Acquisition Manager at Dovetail Game
Don’t miss out on this chance to connect with others in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you there.
