Medway Together Fund: Launch event

We are launching the Medway Together Fund 2026 on Wednesday, 8 April.

The new fund replaces the previous Shared Prosperity Fund, which provided four years of funding grants between 2022 and 2025. Since the Shared Prosperity Fund programme launched in 2022, over £1.8milion worth of funding has been spent on delivering nearly 150 projects supporting charities, voluntary sector organisations, private sector organisations, and other eligible groups across Medway.

The Medway Together Fund will be thousands of pounds worth of grants available to the same eligiible groups. The funding pot will be split into the following three funding streams which eligible applicants can apply for:

1) Feasibility Fund: To help get projects, events or programmes off the ground

2) Medway Impact Fund: To help you run projects, events or programmes

3) Summer Events Fund: This scheme aims to support large-scale summer events which foster pride in Medway and encourage people to visit and explore the area. Events eligible for this scheme must take place between June and August 2026 and have a minimum of 500 attendees.

This event will talk you through the application process and share some of the recent succes stories of community funding provided through the council.
