Join me for The Danish Duo: Danish Cord Weaving & Danish Pastries!
Picture yourself relaxing, surrounded by good company, and creating a beautiful Danish cord stool. Join me over four mornings, and then stand back and think, 'I made that'.
Session dates: Tuesday mornings - 5, 12, 19, 26 May 2026
Location: A grand hotel pub called The Spread Eagle.
What to expect:
- Four guided mornings where participants learn basic Danish paper-cording skills and weave their own premium-quality stool.
- Prepare legs/frame, including light sanding and oil finish, followed by the weaving.
- Free pastry, tea and coffee.
Materials: We only use premium-quality wood and Danish cord. The frame is flawlessly hand-machined in Manchester.
Tools and equipment: All necessary tools and equipment for the workshop are provided.
No prior experience is needed, just nimble fingers! Absolute beginners welcome.
Some extra details:
This activity is delivered by me, Charlotte Cochrane.
Stool size: 430mm x 355mm x 355mm. Solid beech, manufactured in Manchester, UK.
Danish cord – traditional natural and black options (extra fee for black cord). The black option will need to be requested at least 1 week in advance of the start date.
