The Crone embodies creative transformation. She is the Wise Woman, the Leader, the Healer. She recognises that death is only a change and that beyond death is life in a new form. She leads those going on that new path, and comforts those left behind. Her stories are about endings. She sees through her wisdom what was – is no longer.
When you enter your Crone years, you truly begin to know yourself. Life can become clear for many; no longer settling for putting yourself last – you begin to live without the constraints of the demanding day to day existence of your younger years. Gone is the rashness of youth, you choose your words carefully and they hold the power and empathy of the eternal Mother often exploring your world alone and fearless - embodying the energy of the carefree Maiden excited for life again!
You are one of generations of women, with your own story – on your own journey. For those who gather in this space, some will know each other and others will come alone. You have though, come together in this space because you believe in or are seeking like-minded Souls, connection, healing, wisdom and understanding.
Crone Circles are open to all ages to soak up the wisdom of shared knowledge, self-nourishment, spiritual practice, healing and ceremony.
Please bring a small healthy plate to share - think fruit/cheese/savoury and to make it easier on the facilitator have it ready and prepared to go. Soup and herbal tea will be supplied. Dress for outside participation.
