The Conservation Volunteers - Ham Lands Grassland Management
About this Event
We will be working within Ham Lands, in collaboration with Friends of Ham Lands and LBRuT, to manage the meadows, scrub and woodland.
We will be working to reclaim grassland edges by:
- Removing invasive saplings (false acacia & Holm oak)
- Cutting back bramble & clematis
- Removing horseradish
- Litter picking
Meet at the Croft Way and Riverside Drive junction. Look for the TCV van. From there, we will head to the session site.

Unrestricted parking is available on Riverside Drive.
Please bring:
- packed lunch & water
- suitable outdoor clothes (that will keep you warm & dry the whole day)
- hat & sunblock
- suitable outdoor footwear (it can be muddy in places)
We provide hot drinks, so please bring your own mug (and spoon).
Please DO NOT attend our sessions if you have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 5 days.
