Westminster Music Library proudly presents guitarist Davide Melzani for a performance of Baroque to 20th-century repertoire. All are warmly welcome at this free performance in a relaxed environment.

Alexandre Tansman - Variations on a Theme of Scriabin
Manuel Maria Ponce - Prelude in E major
Benjamin Britten - Nocturnal after John Dowland
Davide Melzani, a graduate with honours at the Francesco Antonio Bonporti Conservatory of Music, studied with masters of great guitar - musicological depth. Among them there are Paolo Tomasini, Frederic Zigante and Paul Galbraith.
His repertoire ranges from Bach, Sor and Tárrega to Ponce, Tansman, Britten and Rodrigo, with particular attention to the twentieth century guitar and an interpretative approach that combines musicological rigour and executive sensitivity.
