Join us May 1–3, 2026, at our physical space, The Witch’s Hearth in Calgary (1212 34 Ave SE) for a full weekend of sacred fire, magical education, spirit communion, ritual, and community as the Alberta Witches Association proudly presents Beltane Fires—our spring educational retreat and seasonal celebration.
Stewarded by The Witch of Shamie’s Suitcase, this immersive weekend is designed to honour the fire festival of Beltane through a blend of spiritual practice, hands-on magical learning, and heartfelt connection within community.
Throughout the weekend, attendees will be invited to step into a living magical retreat experience featuring:

Friday, May 1 – Members Only: The Fires Are Lit
A private evening for AWA VIP members to open the Beltane container in sacred space featuring:
Opening Blessing of the Flame Ritual
Intimate Candlelight SĂ©ances
Hearth Social, Small Tapas, & Music
Saturday, May 2 – Educational Retreat Day
Our main retreat day featuring a full schedule of magical workshops, practical craft, curated vendors, and immersive educational experiences throughout The Witch’s Hearth.
Workshop examples include; Knot magic, Scrying, & Loose incense!
Sunday, May 3 – Hearth & Community Morning
A softer closing day focused on conversation, reflection, leadership, and the future of our magical community.
