Warm cookies fresh from the oven.
Colorful sprinkles everywhere.

And that first bite of an ice cream sandwich you made yourself.
This July, we're inviting little and junior bakers into The Baker's Lab to celebrate National Ice Cream Month with one of our sweetest hands-on experiences of the summer.
Together we'll scoop cookie dough, bake fresh chocolate chip cookies, build delicious ice cream cookie sandwiches, and decorate them with colorful toppings before packaging everything to take home.
And while their creations chill for the trip home...
Everyone will enjoy a delicious ice cream treat before heading out.
Because summer memories are always a little sweeter with ice cream.

⏱️ WORKSHOP DETAILS
Duration: Approximately 90 minutes
Supplies: All ingredients and supplies included
Skill Level: Beginner-friendly
Recommended Ages: 4–12
Ages 4–5: Parent or guardian participation is required throughout the workshop.
Ages 6–12: Parents are welcome to stay or enjoy free time nearby while class is in session.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
Ticket Sales Close: July 15 at 8:00 PM to allow time for ingredient preparation and workshop planning.
Minimum Enrollment: A minimum of 4 participants is required. If minimum enrollment is not met, registered guests will receive a full refund.
Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 7 days before the event may receive a refund (excluding Eventbrite fees). Cancellations made within 7 days may receive a credit toward a future Baker's Lab workshop. No credits will be issued within 72 hours of the event.
ABOUT CHEF TAI
Chef Tai is the Co-Owner and Pastry Chef of 5-12 Dessert and The Baker’s Lab at 5-12 Dessert. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Baking & Pastry Arts and an MBA from Johnson & Wales University, studied abroad at the Florence University of the Arts in Italy, and has over 15 years of experience in the baking industry. She is also a former high school Baking & Pastry Arts teacher.
