Join us at The Baker's Lab at 5-12 Dessert for an afternoon where you'll step behind the scenes and discover how handcrafted artisan ice cream is made—from creamy base to your own custom flavor.

Under the guidance of Chef Tai, you'll learn the fundamentals of small-batch ice cream making before customizing your creation with premium mix-ins and gourmet toppings to create something that's uniquely yours.

Whether you're a longtime ice cream lover, a foodie looking for a unique experience, bringing your teen, planning a unique date experience, getting together with your bestie or girlfriends, or simply treating yourself to something different, this workshop is designed to be equal parts education, creativity, and indulgence.

Duration: Approximately 90 minutes

Ages: Adults & Teens (12+)

Supplies: All ingredients and equipment provided

Workshop Size: Limited to maintain an interactive, hands-on experience.



IMPORTANT DETAILS

Advance registration is required so our team can prepare ingredients, supplies, and customized workstations.

Minimum Enrollment: A minimum of 4 participants is required. If minimum enrollment is not met, registered guests will receive a full refund.

Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 7 days before the event may receive a refund (excluding Eventbrite fees). Cancellations made within 7 days may receive a credit toward a future Baker's Lab workshop. No credits will be issued within 72 hours of the event.



ABOUT CHEF TAI

Chef Tai is the Co-Owner and Pastry Chef of 5-12 Dessert and The Baker’s Lab at 5-12 Dessert. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Baking & Pastry Arts and an MBA from Johnson & Wales University, studied abroad at the Florence University of the Arts in Italy, and has over 15 years of experience in the baking industry. She is also a former high school Baking & Pastry Arts teacher.
