About this Event

This workshop is split into two sessions:

Part One: 6-9pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026

Part Two: 6-9pm on Thursday, June 11, 2026

In this guided paint-along workshop with artist Jenny Baker, you will follow a step-by-step demonstration to create your own finished piece. While the palette knife will be the star of the process, we will also incorporate brushes to help achieve specific effects and details. Along the way, you will learn how to build texture, blend colour, and experiment with mixed media using both tools.

A completed reference painting will be available during the workshop, and you are welcome to take a photo of it in case you would like to continue working on your piece after the session.

This class is designed for students with some painting experience, but beginners are always welcome. Whether you are looking to expand your techniques or simply enjoy a creative escape, this workshop offers a fun and encouraging environment to explore something new.
