Your Topic:
Let's Talk about Dance!
What is dance? Who dances in Australia? Community dancing is not just a physical activity- it acts as a social lubricant, expression of cultural identity, agent of political activism and more. Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities lead the way, yet for many Anglo Australians, dance remains a remote, mysterious activity performed on stages and screens (except when Nutbush is played). Come along- you may even be inspired to dance!
