Northside Made
Northside Made is a contemporary group exhibition celebrating the vibrant creative community that exists within the City of Darebin.
Presented by Gallery Unbound the exhibition brings together Darebin-based artists working across painting, ceramics, printmaking, embroidery, collage, mixed media, and contemporary visual arts practices during the Darebin FUSE festival.
Featuring both emerging and established artists, northside made has been developed to celebrate the creatives already shaping the cultural identity of Melbourne’s northside every day. The exhibition reflects the diversity of Darebin’s artistic community, showcasing artists from a wide range of backgrounds, lived experiences, and artistic disciplines.
More than simply an exhibition, northside made is about connection — creating opportunities for audiences to engage directly with the artists who live and work within their own community. Alongside the exhibition, Gallery Unbound will host a public “Meet Your Artists” event, encouraging conversation, accessibility, and meaningful community engagement through contemporary art.
At its heart, northside made is a celebration of local creativity, community, and the artists helping shape the cultural fabric of Darebin.
