yours + mine

yours + mine is a group exhibition centred on connection, collaboration, and the relationships that shape creative practice.

Artists are invited to apply as a pair alongside someone they share a meaningful connection with. That connection may be through family, friendship, partnership, mentorship, work, community, or chosen family. Some may create collaboratively, while others may present individual works that speak to one another through shared experiences, conversations, histories, or perspectives.

This exhibition is not limited to traditional ideas of family or partnership. Instead, it explores the many ways people become intertwined through creativity and life itself.

The title yours + mine reflects both individuality and togetherness — two separate practices, stories, and voices existing alongside one another while creating something larger through connection.

At a time where genuine connection can feel increasingly rare, yours + mine celebrates the people we return to, grow beside, lean on, and create with. The relationships that influence us quietly, shape us over time, and leave traces of themselves within the work we make.

Through painting, photography, sculpture, textile work, printmaking, ceramics, and mixed media, yours + mine invites audiences into a collection of shared moments, parallel experiences, and creative dialogues between people connected in ways both visible and unseen.
