Join Us for the Annual Dr. Jose Rizal Park Jazz Festival 2026! 🇵🇭🎶

Bring your lawn chairs, family, and friends for an afternoon of live music, culture, community, food trucks, vendors, and fun for all ages! Admission is FREE, and everyone is welcome.
This year’s festival also includes a special moment of remembrance as we honor the Negros 19, with special tribute to:
🕊️ Kai Dana-Renee Sorem, a beloved daughter of Seattle, whose life and commitment to justice touched so many.
🕊️ Lyle Prijoles, whose memory continues to inspire all who seek peace, justice, and human dignity.
As we gather through the universal language of jazz, we remember those whose lives remind us that compassion, courage, and unity can overcome division. May their legacy continue to inspire us to build stronger communities and work toward a more just and peaceful world.
As President of the Rizal Park and Bridge Preservation Society, I invite you to celebrate with us and help preserve one of Seattle’s most historic landmarks—the only park and bridge in the United States named in honor of Dr. José Rizal, the Philippine national hero whose ideals of peaceful reform, education, and civic responsibility continue to inspire generations.
🎶 Admission is FREE, but your support is greatly appreciated.
Your donations will help us continue restoring and improving Dr. Jose Rizal Park, including:
✨ Security lighting
✨ Restoring the historic time capsule
✨ Speed bumps for pedestrian safety
✨ Park gate and security improvements
✨ Future community programs and cultural events
