About this Event
On 10th and 11th February 2025, the Crick will host the 3rd Crick–Beddington Developmental Biology Symposium. The symposium honours the memory of Rosa Beddington FRS (1956-2001), a leading UK embryologist who made outstanding contributions to our understanding of axial patterning and was a mentor to many in the field. The field of Developmental Biology has advanced significantly in the past years through the use of state-of-art tools and the merger of diverse disciplines. We now have a deeper understanding of the complex processes that build an embryo or help regenerate body parts, and their relevance for health and disease. This symposium will showcase these advances and will capture the rich diversity of topics ranging from the physics of biological forms to evolution of phenotypes and regeneration. There will be plenary talks from leading invited speakers and selected short talks from submitted abstracts. We very much look forward to welcoming you in London.
Abstract submission deadline is now closed -you will be advised of the outcome of your submissions by 20th December.
Registration deadline: 31 December
