The 2026 Dance of the Nation Contest

Launched in 2016, GetActive! Singapore Workout: Dance of the Nation (DOTN) is an annual nationwide initiative by Sport Singapore that brings Singaporeans together through a fun and energising dance routine set to that year's National Day Parade (NDP) song, in the lead-up to National Day.

Now in its eleventh year, DOTN is part of GetActive! Singapore's broader vision to promote healthy, active lifestyles and foster community spirit, celebrating unity, fitness, and the spirit of the nation.

DOTN 2026 launches on Friday, 12 June at 5pm, on ActiveSG Circle and NDPeeps platforms. This year’s dance moves to the beat of a remix of two original songs from the Go Beyond: NDP 2026 Album — You'll Be Okay and Sparkle — continuing Sport Singapore’s annual collaboration with NDP. Featuring moves such as Stomp & Clap, Boogie and Sassy Snap, the routine is easy to follow and designed for everyone of all ages and abilities to join in and stay active.

This year, DOTN will up the ante with a social media contest for all Singapore residents to submit their dance videos. Public are invited to get moving, get creative, and share their National Day spirit with the nation on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, and stand a chance to win tickets to the NDP 2026 National Education (NE) Show on 18 July 2026.
