✨ Picture a whole beach moving as one: dozens of people dancing their hearts out, and total silence to anyone walking by. That's the secret. Everyone's tuned to the same wireless frequency, lost in the same music — so what looks like joyful chaos from the outside feels like pure magic from the inside. This is Silent JoyDancing on Palawan Beach.
💃 Can't dance? Perfect — nobody's watching you, and there's nothing to get right. Every move is an invitation, never a rule. Go big, sway gently, or just close your eyes and feel it. Every body is welcome here.
🌊 How the hour flows
We start by settling in together, ease into an easy groove, build to a full-energy, let-loose peak, then bring it back down to a calm, happy finish under the open sky. Our guides lead the whole way — you just follow along, or do your own thing.
🙌 No experience needed. No fitness level required. Just show up as you are.

📍 Where to meet: Palawan Beach near the suspension bridge
We have a big stretch of beach near the suspension bridge crossing to the little islet (Palawan Island).
By Sentosa Express — Take the Sentosa Express from VivoCity (Level 3), and ride it to the last stop, Beach Station. From Beach Station it's about a 5-minute walk to Palawan Beach — head toward the water and turn right/west; the suspension bridge is the landmark you're aiming for.
By Beach Shuttle — From Beach Station, hop on the Beach Shuttle and alight at the Palawan Beach stop. Drops you right by the bridge.
By bus — Bus 123 from the mainland runs onto Sentosa and stops at Beach Station; walk over from there.
By car — Park at Beach Station Carpark, then it's a short walk across to the beach.
On foot from the mainland — Cross the Sentosa Boardwalk from VivoCity, then continue down to Beach Station and over to Palawan Beach.

Good to know
- Headphones are provided and must be returned at the end of each session
- All movements are optional — every prompt is an invitation, never a requirement
- Weather notice is provided 60mins prior to session starting time, sessions may be postponed or tickets transferred to another date
- Please arrive 10 minutes before start time to collect your headphones, as we start on time
- No prior experience of dance, movement or meditation required
- These sessions are open to all ages and abilities
📄 Terms & conditions
- Minimum of twelve (12) confirmed participants are required to proceed. Should participants fall below the minimum required 5 days prior to the event the event will be cancelled and tickets rescheduled (subject to availability).
- Tickets are refundable 7 days in advance of a session. Transfers and name changes are permitted at any time — email [email protected] to arrange.
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times
- Secret Sunrise Singapore reserves the right to adjust the programme due to weather or safety conditions. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, all ticket holders will receive a transfer to a future event or if there are no future events, they will receive a refund.
- Secret Sunrise Singapore reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who appears intoxicated or behaves in a way that disrupts the experience for others.

What is Secret Sunrise?
Every human needs joy — not as a reward, not as a luxury, but as a baseline. Secret Sunrise was born in Africa as an outreach programme, and what it discovered was simple: you don’t need much. Just three ingredients — music, movement, and connection. That’s the whole formula.
From that foundation, something spread. Now in 25+ cities with hundreds of events across beaches, parks, rooftops, and boardrooms, Secret Sunrise has shown that joy isn’t complicated. We just forgot how to make space for it.
Here’s how it works: you arrive, put on wireless headphones, and tune into the same music and facilitators as everyone else. Then you move — however it looks for you. No rules, no dance experience required, no right way to do it. You can sway with your eyes closed or go completely wild. Both are the point.
Dance isn’t about looking good — it’s proven to help you connect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and unlock playfulness that fuels creativity, connection, and presence. Facilitators hold the space, guiding and inviting without demanding.
You’ll leave feeling something you may not have felt in a while: fully alive, grounded, and a little giddy. That’s the design.
