About this Event
"TEWSDAYS IN THE BASEMENT" This is a Poems + Beats Open Mic! Poets perform to their own original tracks, instrumentals, or just show up with their poem to participate in "Rhythm Roulette" from producer submitted tracks. Producers and Beat Makers can submit tracks for "Rhythm Roulette" to showcase their tracks and network with poets. The most important part of the show is YOU! THE AUDIENCE! Throughout the show the audience will provide the energy for the stage by holding "signs of approval" and keeping the vibrations high!
To sign up for the open mic or to submit a track fill out the attached google form. YOU MUST PURCHASE AN ADVANCED TICKET TO SIGN UP FOR OPEN MIC/TRACK SUBMISSION! If open mic slots are filled show up anyway because their will be a poet's cypher at the end!! Poets that sign up for open mic must arrive at 6pm to check in or risk losing your spot.
DISCLAIMER: This is a poetry event! This not an event for Singers, Comedians, or Rappers to perform...but poet-emcees are welcomed!
