In this one-off lunch and learn, join Rabbi Jessy in an exploration of what we gain and what we lose when we lean into fanaticism. This learning will take a deeper dive into the Hannukah story and consider the benefits and losses of a group who was relentlessly unwilling to conform to the pressures of a governing body that insisted they shed their Jewish customs and commitments.
