Terri Allard, Jason Pollock, and Thomas Gunn team up to bring us A Songwriters' Round, another installment of our 2026 Locals Unplugged series. Join three of our favorite singer-songwriters for a magical evening as they come together to share music and the stories behind their songs.Award-winning singer-songwriter Terri Allard combines sultry sweetness and grit with an intimately personal writing style, lending a strong, authentic voice to the Americana/Folk scene. Allard has five albums of original material under her belt and a strong connection to the Charlottesville community. She is also the producer of the VPM PBS digital series “Charlottesville Inside-Out."
If you’ve ever heard Thomas Gunn, you want more Thomas Gunn. Writing in a variety of styles that are equal parts philosophy, storytelling and musicianship, Thomas delivers a fusion of folk and country, underpinned by his mastery of the guitar and his distinctive voice. His main gig is with the Batesville-based band, The Pollocks, where he plays lead guitar and co-writes with the band’s founder, Jason Pollock of Seven Mary Three fame. Thomas’s unusual worldview, combined with his unscripted humor, stunning guitar work and the poignancy of his lyrics, will leave an endearing and enduring mark on your psyche.
Jason Pollock was the founder of the ‘90s rock band, Seven Mary Three. As the songwriter for the band, he penned such hits as “Cumbersome”, “Water’s Edge” and “Rock Crown." His latest project, The Pollocks was formed in 2004.
