Women are taught that anger is bad, dangerous or something to hide.
We've learned to swallow it, soften it, or turn it inward. Over time, that suppression can feel like overwhelm, anxiety, numbness, self-doubt, or a sense that something is “wrong” with us.
But anger is a vital protective signal and a part of our biology that tells the truth long before the mind catches up.
In Tending the Fire, we shift from asking “Why am I angry?” to the deeper, wiser question: “What is this anger protecting or communicating?”
Throughout the day you will move through a series of guided experiences designed to help your nervous system feel safe, supported and able to explore anger with curiosity instead of fear or shame.
We will explore how anger functions biologically and why it's a necessary part of protection, boundaries and truth telling.
You will practice somatic techniques that help you notice how anger takes shape in your body, how your physical sensations shift when emotions build, and how to release that energy in a way that feels contained and safe.
