Taverham & Drayton Litter Pick - Sunday 10th November @ 11am

T averham & Drayton Litter Pickers are an inspiring group of volunteers who come together to make a difference by keeping the community clean and raising funds to purchase CCTV cameras for those experiencing post separation abuse.

These events are a great opportunity to meet new people, get outside and eat your body weight in biscuits! We welcome all new faces to the team.

I f you are not a keen litter picker, or would struggle to undertake this activity, we have many other ways that you can get involved! Everyone is invited!

START TIME: start at 11am, however please arrive from 10:45am.

MEETING POINT: We will meet at the Thorpe Marriott field, where Marriott's Way crosses Pendlesham Rise, NR8 6XG.

N EAREST CAR PARK: Tesco's, The Square, Thorpe Marriott, NR8 6UT. Please note that our parking permits have expired, however we have been promised that if anyone receives a fine then this will be waivered. Just let us know your car reg if this happens.

E ND TIME: The litter pick is 1 hour in duration and ends at 12pm, however we then have a group photo and have refreshments together after. Typically the whole event ends at 12:30pm.

All ages are welcome. Under 18s must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, including those undertaking their DofE. Those aged 6-15 years old can work towards their green Blue Peter badges - which gives children free access to 200 UK attractions.

There will be free refreshments on the field afterwards (tea, coffee, hot choc, squash, cake and biscuits). If you have any allergens please let me know so that we can ensure you have options available to you.

All equipment is provided (hi vis, gloves, bin hoops and bin bags). Please wear closed toe shoes and suitable clothing, including long sleeve tops and long leg bottoms.

For Health & Safety reasons we ask that your attendance is booked in advance and a FREE ticket reserved for each member of your party. You do NOT need to print your ticket up to come to the event, just simply register :)

A First Aider and a First Aid box is always available at this event.

E vent cancellation: In the event that we have extreme weather, the event will be cancelled via Eventbrite. You will receive an email notification at least 1 hour before the event would start. A Facebook post will also be shared and every effort to make contact with those who have booked tickets will be made.
