A phenomenal opportunity to get the local kayak anglers together for a snapper showdown and bragging rights.
Longest snapper takes the pooled entry fees, the more people the more moola 💰.
EVERYONE must launch from Motiti Reserve, Papamoa. Fishing starts at 6am. Must have your snapper measured by 12pm. A marque and table will be set up on the reserve for measuring.
Creamy pumpkin soup will be provided upon your return to shore to warm you up!
The entry fee is $20 cash inside an envelope with your full name on it. Bring it on the day. If you have the longest snapper but we don't have your envelope you'll miss out!
Remember this is a Unofficial event, your safety is your responsibility.
