Tasting Class: Experience Single Malt Whiskies

There are 5 scotch whisky regions: Highland, Speyside, Lowland, Islay and Campbeltown. By law, Single Malt Scotch Whisky is defined as whisky distilled in a copper pot still at a single distillery in Scotland using only malted barley, yeast and water. It must then mature in oak casks in Scotland for at least three years and one day before being bottled at an alcohol volume of no less than 40%. Join us and learn about the uniqueness of each of three producers, and how they perfectly showcase the regions of Scotland they represent.

Alex has spent his time in the spirits industry learning all he can about American and International whiskies. He began his career working with Black Button Distilling in Rochester, NY where he managed the barrel and blending programs with the distilling team.
