„Tarp“ (darbinis pavadinimas) – garso ir judesio pasirodymas, tyrinėjantis objekto ir subjekto santykį bei jų tarpusavio kaitą. Scenoje veikia atlikėjas, gyvai kuriamas garsas, ventiliatoriai ir iš sujungtų šiukšlių maišų sukurti objektai. Pasirodymas nagrinėja, kaip šios pozicijos gali veikti viena kitą ir apsikeisti vaidmenimis. Iš pradžių atlikėjas kontroliuoja scenos elementus, tačiau ilgainiui pats tampa jų veikiamas, kol galiausiai žmogaus figūra tarsi išnyksta, o erdvėje ima judėti savarankiška forma. Svarbi ašis – saugios, pasitikėjimu grįstos erdvės kūrimas. Per artimą ryšį su publika žiūrovai kviečiami atsipalaiduoti, neieškoti konkrečių prasmių, bet pasiduoti pojūčiams ir vaizduotei. Daugiasluoksnė struktūra leidžia vienu metu egzistuoti tvarkai ir chaosui, kontrolei ir pasidavimui, nuolat keičiant jų santykį.

A constantly shifting balance will take hold in the foyer of VMU’s Great Hall—here, the wind created by fans, sound, and objects born from trash bags will gradually take control, and the boundary between humans and their surroundings will begin to dissolve.

“Tarp” (working title) is a sound and movement performance exploring the fragile and ever-changing relationship between object and subject. The stage becomes a living environment inhabited by a performer, live-generated sound, fans, and floating forms made from connected garbage bags. Within this landscape, roles are never fixed: what first appears controlled and passive slowly gains agency, while the performer gradually becomes influenced, carried, and transformed by the forces around them. In time, the human figure almost dissolves, leaving behind a moving presence that feels neither entirely human nor entirely object.
At the heart of the work lies the creation of a safe and intimate atmosphere grounded in trust. The audience is invited not to search for clear meanings, but to experience the performance through sensation, association, and imagination. Air, sound, movement, and material continuously reshape one another, allowing tenderness and unpredictability, control and surrender, order and chaos to exist side by side. “Tarp” unfolds as a quiet transformation — an invitation to witness how bodies, objects, and environments can merge into something unfamiliar, vulnerable, and alive.
