About this Event
Taking in the Good: Rewiring the Mind towards Happiness and Joy
Join us for an evening exploring why negativity has such a strong pull, and how science shows we can retrain the brain toward happiness and joy.
You’ll be introduced to practical, evidence-based ways to counterbalance this tendency, including practices that cultivate gratitude, joy, and awe. These practices aren’t about ignoring difficulty—they’re about training the mind to register goodness more fully and deeply. The evening will include gentle teaching, guided practices, and meditations that you can easily bring into daily life. Through reflection and experience, you’ll learn how to “take in the good” in ways that support resilience, emotional balance, and a greater sense of ease. No prior meditation experience is needed—just a curiosity about how small shifts in attention can create meaningful change.
