Hanzi are often viewed through the lens of art and history, but beneath their mystical beauty lies a complex structural and statistical system. This talk traces the evolution of Hanzi from ancient oracle bone inscriptions and Qin unification to calligraphy and modern digital typing algorithms—from Taiwan's unique Zhuyin system to keyboards worldwide. Focusing on Traditional characters, where ancient radical logic and semantic-phonetic structures remain intact, we dive deep into character frequency, component mechanics, and how ancient character logic lives on in modern Taiwanese culture and human language.
