Tabard Gardens Community Allotment Volunteer Day
About this Event
Join us for a hands-on volunteer day at Tabard Gardens Community Allotment and help us create two exciting new spaces for the community.
We’ll be creating a new community learning and events area — a flexible outdoor space where people can meet, relax, attend workshops, socialise, learn and connect with nature.
We’ll also be preparing and creating a new biodiversity meadow, helping to increase habitat and provide a richer environment for wildlife and pollinators.
No gardening or landscaping experience is needed. Guidance will be provided throughout the day, so whether you’re an experienced gardener or simply interested in spending time outdoors and contributing to a community green space, you’re very welcome.
Come for a few hours or stay for the whole day — any time you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Drinks and snacks will be available throughout the day.
Please wear comfortable clothes suitable for practical outdoor work and sturdy, closed-toe footwear.
