About this Event

St Mary's Churchyard – winner of London Churchyard of the Year – is Walthamstow Village's largest green space and one of Waltham Forest's most biodiverse spaces, with an incredible range of plants.

Led by head gardener Tim Hewitt – an expert in gardening for wildlife – we are now offering free Summer Saturday volunteer sessions for volunteers to learn new gardening skills, understand ecological wildlife management, and meet local people. However, due to anticipated demand, you must book here.

Sessions will be held in St Mary's Churchyard from 10am-Noon on the following dates: 25th July; 1st August; 8th August; 15th August; 22nd August; and 29th August. Book for each session you plan to attend.
