Your bookshelf has finished its quest. Bring the stories that carried you into another world and trade them for your next great escape.
Join us at Cocktail Collective for a free fantasy, science-fiction, manga, and graphic novel swap on Saturday, September 5 from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM.
HOW THE SWAP WORKS
• RSVP for free through Eventbrite. Each registered guest who RSVPs in advance receives 2 bonus swap tokens at check-in.
• You may participate even if you do not bring any books.
• Bring no more than 10 clean, readable, category-appropriate books.
• Our team will inspect contributions at check-in. One accepted book or qualifying book set equals one swap token. Cocktail Collective staff will make the final count.
• Once a book is accepted and exchanged for a token, it becomes part of the community swap and cannot be reclaimed.
• Use one token to take one available swap book, regardless of its original or retail value.
• Additional tokens may be purchased at the door for $3 each. Proceeds from optional token purchases will be donated.
• Tokens are valid only during this event. Unused tokens have no cash value, cannot be refunded, and cannot be used at another Swap Meet.
• Available books are first come, first served. Participation does not guarantee a particular title, genre, reading level, value, or number of books.
WHAT TO BRING
Accepted items include fantasy novels, science-fiction novels, speculative fiction, graphic novels, manga, collected comic editions, and category-appropriate young-adult or children’s books. Please do not bring books with mold, heavy water damage, missing pages, excessive writing, strong odors, or anything that is not ready for another reader to enjoy.
Walk-ins are welcome as space allows. An RSVP does not guarantee immediate entry. Only 30 guests may be inside at one time, so guests may be asked to wait if the venue is full.
Because of the space and event setup, this is an adults-only swap. Guests must be 21 years or older to attend.
At the end of the event, unswapped books may be left with our team for donation, Little Free Libraries, or future community use. Once books are left behind, they cannot be reclaimed.

The Cocktail Collective is a small, Black- and woman-owned business that offers educational cocktail and spirit classes guided by industry professionals. You must be 21 years or older to attend our events.
