Sapphic Book Club
About this Event
The Sapphic Book Club, hosted at Under the Umbrella, is an inclusive space for anyone who identifies as sapphic--including lesbians, bisexuals, pansexuals, and genderqueer sapphics. The book club reads books from a wide range of genres, all featuring sapphic characters and stories.
The book club is held on the last Saturday of each month at 2:30 PM, unless otherwise indicated.
Contact Brynja at [email protected] with any questions.
Cost: Please bring a contribution (sliding scale $1-5) for the meeting room reservation at Under the Umbrella. If $1 a month is a barrier for you, you are still welcome to attend!
COVID Precautions: It is a requirement for both the bookstore and the book club to wear a mask.
When possible, please support the store and the authors by purchasing a copy here! Most books should also be available at local libraries. One copy of each book is available for free to any BIPOC person interested in reading the book but unable or unwilling to pay for a copy.
