Sva Sadhana: Yoga + Ayurveda Training

Sva translates as "of the Self." Sadhana means "an instrument, or means." Together, they name something that most of us are quietly looking for: a practice that is genuinely yours, one that shapes how you move through daily life rather than something you do for an hour and then set aside.
Sva Sadhana is a 150-hour, nine-month training in Yoga and Ayurveda led by Kara Aubin. It is not a teacher training, though many teachers have found deep renewal here. It is a training for the student who is ready to go deeper, to take the sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda off the mat and into the texture of everyday life. The curriculum moves through Ayurvedic theory, Yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama, meditation, Yoga nidra, mantra, dinacharya, and Ayurvedic diet and cooking, among other subjects. Each month builds on the last, and the practice accumulates over nine months in ways that a weekend workshop or weekly class simply cannot.
This is also a held container. You are not studying alone. You are supported by monthly weekend intensives, 25 weekly classes with Kara, a private session, a training partner, and a cohort walking the path alongside you. Many graduates stay connected long after the program ends. That community is part of what this training gives you.
