Free in-person workshop for SMEs in South & West Devon
Want to make your business greener but not sure where to start?
This hands-on, in-person workshop gives you simple, practical actions you can apply immediately to reduce emissions, cut costs, and future-proof your business. No jargon. No overwhelm. Just real, achievable steps tailored to the realities of running a small or growing organisation. The session will last 90 minutes, with 30 minutes of networking afterwards.
What to expect
During this session, you will:
- Understand the fundamentals of sustainability for small to medium size organisations
- Learn where emissions typically come from and how to reduce them
- Get clear on what “net zero” actually means for a business like yours (and why the big companies are shifting toward net positive)
- Discover quick wins that save money and reduce your carbon footprint
- Explore longer-term opportunities, including funding pathways
- Create a simple, personalised Action Plan to take away and start implementing right away

Through the Decarbonisation Programme with Libraries Unlimited and BIPC Devon, NetShift has already supported hundreds of local businesses with carbon audits, tailored decarb plans, funding guidance, and one-to-one consulting.

Further Funding Opportunity
Those who attend will offered the chance to secure follow-on consulting and support from NetShift, fully funded by the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund, in partnership with Teignbridge Council. Limited spaces apply. Consulting will take place throughout February & March, and will include a full carbon audit, and a carbon policy for your organisation.
