This surface decoration course is what you have been waiting for!
For six weeks, this course focuses on exploring difference decorative techniques that can be used on clay. Spend 1-2 classes making work, the remaining classes will be about learning how to create imagery and patterns on your pottery.
Explore techniques such as Mishima, Sgraffito and Underglaze techniques on greenware along with a variety of glaze layering and resist on bisque. This course will focus on learning and exploration over quantity. Instructors include Bari Precious and Bronwyn Arundel.
*Recommended prerequisites: It is suggested that students have take a basic pottery course. Focus will be on decoration and less on learning how to throw forms.
Students must be aged 14+
