TBRI Training coming to the Vancouver Island (Nanaimo) in June!
The 6 hr "Introduction to TBRI Caregiver Training" from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development will be offered which draws from their full 24-hour Trust-Based Relational Intervention Caregiver Training program.
The one day introduction will include:

Why Brain Development Matters in Caregiving
What is Trauma?
The 5 B's of Relational Trauma
Risk Factors and Protective Factors
Attachment Cycle

TBRI Empowering Principles
TBRI Correcting Principles (Proactive & Responsive Strategies)
Registration will be $25/person. But if folks register to attend with someone else the "couples" registration will be $40. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
