Participants will learn the teacher’s role in supporting children during free play. Participants will receive ideas for planning intentional strategies they can use to engage with the children during free play. Participants will receive teaching techniques for individualized teaching, peer interaction, and providing physical warmth during free play.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, learners will gain an understanding of free play
2 . By the end of this session, learners will identify their role during free play and strategies to help engage children.
3 . By the end of this session, learners will recognize opportunities to incorporate teaching strategies to support children during free play.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
