Sunset/Chavez Feeder Ride to Kite Festival

Join Bike LA for this in-person roll through the proposed LADOT Sunset/Chavez Mobility Project on our way to 2026 Clock Shop Kite Fest at LA State Historic Park.

Roll with us through Sunset as we learn about the advocacy and history of this corridor and project as we enjoy LA's sunshine to this celebrated Spring Event.

The Sunset/Chavez Mobility project is a community led advocacy project that started in 2018 as Sunset 4 All. After years of voluteering, tableing and advocating for this project it is now coming to life.

Start the morning with us in Silver Lake at the Sunset Triangle Plaza as we roll south through the proposed Sunset/Chavez Mobility Project before ending the one-way ride at the Chinatown Station and Metro Bike Share Station. On our way to the annual Clock Shop Kite Festival.

All wheels welcome but free Metro Metro Bike Share will be available for pre-registered participants on a first come first serve basis. Please add the Bike Share Bike to this eventbrite ticket. This is a one way bike ride is at the end of the ride you must return the Metro Bike. You may rent another bike for a return trip as needed at any of the nearby Metro Bike Share stations . Metro Bikes are $1.75 for every 30 minutes.

This is a family-friendly ride, turtle speed.
