About the Peer Narrative Ambassador Fellowship

The Department of Youth Development (DYD), in partnership with the Arts for Healing and Justice Network (AHJN), launched the Peer Narrative Ambassador Fellowship, a four-month paid program empowering system-impacted transition-age youth artists to lead the conversation on justice.

Peer Narrative Ambassadors (PNAs) explored the history of youth incarceration and justice movements in LA County to better understand the challenges youth face today. These youth artists also worked under professional mentorship to craft personal art projects that reflect their unique visions for youth justice.
