Sunflowers Children's Action Group is a small volunteer-run charity, no. 1186308, that aims to create activities and events for children with life-limiting & life-threatening conditions, and for their families.
Claire Roach’s ‘Little Trees Yoga for Children’ classes, are designed for all ages and abilities. Every session is a different fun adventure, using yoga poses for all the animals, nature themes or ways to travel. It’s an excellent non-competitive way to boost physical strength, flexibility, emotional regulation and concentration through playful movement.
Let’s be Pirates, travel to the Jungle, visit Outer Space and go on a site seeing holiday. Stretching not just our bodies but our imaginations too.
…. and we always have a Relaxation to finish our journey, which is great for promoting good sleep habits.
The sessions are being held at Bounceback and run from 10-11. Doors open at 9.30 and shut at 11.30 prompt. Children should wear loose clothing such as t-shirts and shorts and a hoody or similar outerwear for after the session.

Regrettably, unless a child has a very time limiting condition, we are not currently adding to our numbers while we process the high number of applications we have recently received.
