Hi everyone,
I'm now hosting a day time health walk, from Salford Museum's Cafe, from the 2nd Sunday of each month and for anyone interested in coming along, their cafe offers hot meals up until 2 pm there or, if you prefer, come along from 2 pm instead only, just as we leave for my group's new monthly health walk instead.
We will return to the museum's cafe after, for refreshments and if there are enough of us interested, will walk into Manchester after also perhaps, into Annies, The Cosy Cafe or the Midland Hotel's lounge area, whereby all those venues have lovely, comfortable seating for after too.
As regards the health walk, it's easy and suitable for all fitness levels, for around an hour or a little over an hour, on level ground mainly, over a bridge crossing the River Irwell, towards the Lower Broughton area of Salford. The route will change ahead, at some point, as I'm interested in walking to Swinton or Salford's Media City ahead, at some point, to make sure as none of us gets bored of the same route.
It's nice to see others in the park as well, either walking their dog(s) in passing, enjoying a leisurely stroll too or some people go through the park, jogging instead.
