Experience the magic of summer at the Sunday Sessions on July 7th! Get ready to be enchanted by the ethereal melodies of Strange Folk, a band known for their unique fusion of folk, rock, and indie vibes. Joining them is local legend Steve Henderson, a talented singer-songwriter whose storytelling skills take you on a journey with every song. Featuring at every event is the Sunday Sessions Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, a mixture of different featured artists each session, ensuring a unique musical experience every time. With our all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet for just £12 per person and the relaxed ambiance of our beer garden, this event promises to be a delightful afternoon of music, food, and community spirituous beverages.
If you haven't been before, here are a few handy tips:
- The BBQ is all YOU can eat. The wristbands can't be shared and don't feed your group with one wristband. Everyone plays by the rules and we keep the prices as low as possible.
- We ask for a contribution for the music. Due to the fact no one carries cash anymore we will ask at the point of ordering for food as well as passing the hat around. Please give generously as some of these musicians haven't consumed solids since 2019. Everything you give, goes to them.
- Yes there are vegetarian and vegan options.
- There is free parking, free entry and free love (strictly platonic so keep them hands where we can see em).
- Yes this is the best value Sunday afternoon anywhere, thanks for noticing.
- There will generally be merch available to buy from the artists. Please consider it. If you can't afford it that's cool too. They will be more than happy to just talk about their music so always say hello and follow all their socials and such.
- Bring your sunny disposition. If you haven't got one, go somewhere else.
