Our first Sunday Crafternoon is here! Join us as we slow down for a few hours and learn the beautiful japanese art form of
Kinusaiga.
This is a new sew form of quilted art that uses fabric scraps to create textured 2d landscapes.
No sewing involved, no prior experience needed - just creativity , good company and a chance to relax.
In this calming three hour workshop you will be guided through the basics of Kinusaiga.
You will design your own template, learn how to transfer that design to your base board, choose and cut fabrics to create a mosaic like landscape . plus you will have all of the knowledge and skills to create more kinusaiga art at home.
We will choose from my huge selection of colourful fabrics but you are welcome to bring along your own if you would like to include something meaningful or personal to you.
By the end of the class you will have a stunning finished piece made entirely from tucked fabric !
This workshop is suitable for all abilities and the focus of the sessions is onproviding a relaxing , mindful, crafting experience.
This therapeutic art form offers a gentle creative escape and a chance to unwind , all whilst making something truly unique!
