We are in a cost of living crisis. Most of us just about manage to pay the bills and put food on the table ,so we have had to tighten the reins in other areas. Getting the garden ready for summer has maybe been put on the back burner.
i saw a video online showing a really econominal way to make your own hanging baskets......so i had to try it!!
Now i want to share it with all of you.
Creating hanging baskets from collected sticks is a really cost effective,sustainable, ( and really trendy) way to decorate your garden area. All you need are a few forraged sticks , some strong cord and an extra pair of hands!!!
This will definitely be a teamwork challenge as you will most certainly need to work together on these.
Hopefully this will remind group members that we all need a helping hand sometimes and need to rely on the suppprt around us. We cant do everything on our own!
If you could bring along around 20 collected sticks ( straight( ish) 30 to 40cm long) to add to my pile that would be really helpful.
please note that this not a 'cheap craft workshop' - Mind it is a mental health and wellbeing group who meet weekly .
This class is open to anyone who has been to at least two previous Mind It group sessions- for the usual £5.00 fee.
