Named after the street where the band was formed, Monrovia Lights is rooted in community and driven by a shared love of timeless music. They features a tight, a professional quartet lineup of keyboards, lead guitar, bass and drums. This female-driven rock & soul band is based in Shawnee, Kansas. 2 very dedicated ladies are the lead vocalists; Valerie Dykes & Dottie Bartlett. Their one—two vocal punch delivers a powerful, engaging performances and the dual-vocal front creates a standout sound, with dynamic leads sharing strong harmonies and a natural connection to the music and to the crowd.
What sets Monrovia Lights apart from other acts is their style. They move seamlessly from smooth, laid-back soft rock to upbeat, danceable rock. Their soul favorites top the show off the funk and the fun keep the audience engaged from start to finish.
