Summer Solstice Vision Board Workshop

The summer solstice symbolizes light, power, and personal illumination. As the days shift to having more light and length, a return to life is sparked. The summer solstice symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, abundance of nature, and is often celebrated as a time of joy.

This workshop asks participants to create a vision board representing light, personal power, and harvesting what has grown from seeds previously planted. We will ask ourselves, how can we usher in feelings of hope and connection to what makes life feel purposeful, both on personal and community levels? In this workshop, participants will use collage images and other visual materials to create vision boards representing what matters to them and what values they want to keep moving towards in creating a meaningful, enlightened, and purposeful life.

This workshop is intended to be a therapeutic art experience rather than a therapy session, although it will be conducted by a registered art therapist.

Jacqueline Glosman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Art Therapist working in her own private practice, Jackie G. Therapy. Jacqueline whole-heartedly believes that the process of creating art helps align us with our most authentic-selves and is a powerful tool for self-discovery.
