Join us for a special Summer Solstice celebration, honouring the longest day of the year with movement, intention, and connection.
Rise with the sun at dawn to welcome a new cycle of energy, clarity, and renewal and dance into the sunset as the light begins to soften.
These solstice sessions are a powerful opportunity to release the old, call in the new, and align your energy with nature’s most luminous moment of the year.
Move with the rhythm of the earth, breathe with the changing light, and let your whole being glow from the inside out.
High Tor is a place where the earth feels alive beneath your feet, the air feels clearer, and the views invite you to breathe deeper, ground yourself, and reconnect with something bigger.
Perched high above the Derwent Valley with views of Riber Castle, High Tor offers sweeping, cinematic views in every direction giving you that exhilarating sense of standing on the edge of something powerful and ancient.
To the south, you see the rooftops of Matlock nestled among trees, the town curving gently along the valley floor. To the north, the landscape opens into rolling hills, woodland, and the soft folds of the Peak District stretching into the distance.
Please note that this event does require attendees to walk up to High Tor which is 673 feet. There are no facilities for this event.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, water and ensure that you have comfy clothes and layers as we will be finishing with a creative meditation after our dancing.
